Bwindi gorilla trekking involves hiking through dense rainforest terrain to locate a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on the gorillas’ movement. Once found, visitors spend one hour observing them at a safe distance. The experience is guided by park rangers and trackers, and the walk may include steep slopes, muddy paths, and thick vegetation.
